South Star Rail
South Star Rail (SSR) is sister concern of M and C.
South Star Rail Project is the outcome of the Indian Railways Bharat Gaurav Scheme , a dream project of Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.
South Star Rail is a first private sector service provider under the umbrella of Bharat Gaurav Scheme of locomotives. The aim of South Star Rail is to provide best quality train service in areas of cleanliness, good quality food and to give a memorable travel experience.
The entire train has been repainted to appeal to the pilgrims. Toilet, bathroom and foyer area has been renovated with eye-catchy vinyl designs. The entire train is maintained with the help of experienced housekeeping service providers. The catering is also handled by experienced railway caterers. The food containers are made of bio-degradable material.
Each coach has been facilitated with pro-fx (BPL) speakers for announcement of arrival, departure and to entertain the travelers with bajans and devotional songs. This is meant to give a pleasant travel experience much different from the routine train travel.
South Star Rail is very happy to associate itself as service provider with Indian Railways under the Bharat Gaurav Train.
The South Star Rail (SSR) under the Bharat Gaurav Scheme as a Service Provider, provides the following features.
The features are:
- The rates are slightly higher than regular train ticket rates as charged by Indian Railways due to enhanced luxury, comfort and Personalised services.
- There will be a Train coordinator & Train Manager to control the crisis and happenings (if any) during the journeys.
- ON board TTE electricians, AC Mechanic and Fire and Safety Officers will be present to meet any snag during travel.
- The tourist passengers can book only ticketing and the passengers can arrange their own accommodation at the end destination.
- If the travellers wish, SSR would arrange specifically room package with travel agents if requested.
- Only ticketing packages includes ticket charge, insurance and bed kit to A/C compartments.
- The SSR aims is to facilitate the commuters to visit various tourist destinations across on the country.
- Our motive as service provider is to provide luxury, comfort and personalised services to the passengers travelling in Bharat Gaurav Train.
- The SSR would organize long trips, to Sabarimala, Kasi, Goa, Trivandrum, Tirupathi, Kaniyakumari, Tiruchendur, Rameswaram etc., in future (like Coimbatore to Shirdi), which can be viewed then and there in this website
- ON board Doctor to attend to any emergency, will also be available.
